Swim Like a Girl

Female swimmers ages 14 (age as of Dec. 31st 2019) to 18, we invite you to join us in Dartmouth to start off your 2019-2020 season motivated and inspired to achieve your best. The third annual Swim Like A Girl Camp will be hosted at the Zatzman Sportsplex and will be led by Olympian Annamay Pierse. Be a part of the conversation in athlete forums, participate in pool sessions and workshops facilitated by Annamay, and be inspired by her unique sport story.
Annamay Pierse is a 4 time World Record holder, a World Championship Silver Medalist, Olympian, and numerous international medalist. She grew up swimming with the Edmonton Keyano Bears, and spent the last 10 years of her career competing for the University of British Columbia Dolphins. Annamay broke the World Record in the 200m breaststroke 3 times: short course on home soil in Toronto, Ontario; long course in Rome, Italy at the World Championships; and then again short course at the British Nationals in Leeds, England. She was a member of the 4x100 medley relay that broke the World Record in Leeds as well. Most recently Annamay traveled with the Canadian Delegation to the Pan American Games in Lima Peru, where she acted as athlete mentor to the 400 Canadian athletes competing.
