JULY 2ND MARKS THE BEGINNING OF CYCLING SKILLS DURING LAND TRAINING!

CHH Cycling Skills Logistics 2019
July 2 marks the first day of the addition of cycling skills to CHH summer programming. For the first sessions we will be staying on the track. Everyone is encouraged to bring bikes for these sessions if they can. The coaches have a land training workout planned for athletes who do not have access to a functioning bike. 
What to bring:
  • A working bike
  • Helmet 
  • Usual workout clothes
 
Triathlon Tuesdays
  • Cycling skills for Squalls, Gales and Storm 
  • Athletes who swim first are asked to meet the Hurricane coach outside at the bike racks* at 6:00 am to lock up bikes. 
  • Torrents are asked to meet at the bike racks* at 7:50 am to lock their bikes before heading to the dance studio.  
  • Athletes who have land training first are to meet at the track with their bikes. They will be accompanied by a coach to lock their bikes before heading to the pool.  
  • A coach will be outside to unlock bikes until 12:15
Wheelie Wednesdays
  • Breezes and Gusts are to meet at the track with their bikes for the start of land training. They will lock their bikes together before heading into the pool. 
  • A coach will be outside to unlock bikes until 12:15
A word about bike locks…
            CHH has bike locks which will be used to lock a number of bikes together. You are welcome to bring your own lock. If you are prone to losing keys, please choose a combination lock 😊
Every cycling session begins with a helmet and equipment safety check.
